ADMISSIONS AND TECH CAREERS
A student may need one careful review of a draft or a Mock Interview. When several pieces are connected, we can work through an application or recruiting cycle together.

ADMISSIONS
I review grades, course choices, activities, and deadlines together. A school list should account for the curriculum, campus, Co-op access, and what the student genuinely wants to study. We revise drafts in rounds, with evidence behind every claim.

TECH CAREERS
I review the resume, the projects a student can explain, and the next recruiting dates. When experience is thin, we build code first. When applications are already moving, we practise OA, algorithms, and interviews. Every Mock Interview ends with a focused practice plan.

SELECTED PAST RECRUITING RESULTS
Twenty-seven students have worked with me on recruiting, and every one of them reached an interview. Six are in long-term mentorship this year. Students reach recruiting from very different places. One had already spent a year working in another industry; another had no internship at all. The results below are grouped by where the student started.
A year in an entry-level bank role, moving toward North American software engineering and re-entering the New Grad hiring process.
What the work was
Resume language came first, rewriting that year at the bank into experience software engineering teams could read. An AI project followed, then algorithm mocks. The referral into this round came from us.
Amazon New Grad offer
A first-year student with no internship or Co-op experience, going through a full Co-op recruiting process for the first time.
What the work was
Applying and building at the same time, rather than waiting for the project to be finished. For the TD round, most of the work went into explaining the thinking clearly in the interview.

Student names, schools, application records, and offer documents stay private.
WHY WORK WITH ME
I point out which essay sentence needs evidence, which resume bullet will draw a follow-up, and which part of the code the student cannot yet explain. Then we choose the next practice task.
Emma leads the practice; Xiaolu supports advanced software engineering and technical interviews, while Brandon focuses on Consulting Case Interviews. Claudia: UX/UI project award submissions, graduate applications, design portfolios, and interview preparation. Dai: UX/UI, Product Design, and AI product design.

Courses, Co-op access, and the student's room to build experience all belong in a serious program comparison.
02 / Diagnose
Former Amazon software engineering experience helps me spot where an interviewer will ask for detail—and where a sentence claims more than the student completed.
03 / Practice
The student writes the code. In Code Review, I examine design choices, implementation details, and what should be refactored next.
04 / Review
Algorithm knowledge, reading the prompt, communication, and time management need different practice. We use each session to plan the next round.
05 / Checkpoint
Professional terms stay in English, while the work completed, the remaining gap, and next week's plan can be explained clearly in Chinese.

When a student is well prepared and a role is genuinely relevant, I may be able to help with networking or referral direction based on the circumstances.

I read every submission before replying. If the work is a good fit, the scope, meeting rhythm, duration, and quote are confirmed in writing before we begin.

The form does not need to read like an application essay. Share the student's stage, nearest deadline, and one question that needs attention, then leave an email address or phone number.
